Our Instructors

  Debbie Hamilton started her training in 1992 under Sensei Cyr in Brampton, Ontario where she continues her training. She received her  second degree  Black Belt in June of 2002.

     Japanese Karate is the focus of her training with Goju Ryu being her main style. In addition, Miss Hamilton has also studied in Jiu Jitsu, Escrima, Pa Kua and Tai Chi Chuan.

Miss Hamilton has been privileged to participate in a number of seminars under respected Martial Arts instructors including: 

• O'Sensei Richard Kim of Sacramento, California
• Sensei Richard Marshall of Vancouver
•  
•      Miss Hamilton has had the opportunity to visit and train in many areas of the world including:  The Shaolin Temple in Honan, China. The Butokuden in Kyoto, Japan Miss Hamilton has beeninvolved in numerous demonstrations and has taught self-defense at public schools, recreation center's and retirement homes.
   
       Above all, Miss Hamilton is sincerely proud and appreciative to have been given the opportunity by her Sensei to operate the ACADEMY OF MARTIAL ARTS where she can participate in and contribute to the growth and development of the community of Naples.
